Wind Chill Advisory issued December 22 at 1:03PM EST until December 24 at 11:00AM EST by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills expected. Wind chills as low as 15
below zero. Frequent wind gusts between 35 mph and 45 mph Friday
afternoon through Saturday.
* WHERE...Cumberland and Adams Counties.
* WHEN...From 1 PM Friday to 11 AM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on
exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Limit time outside. Dress in layers and cover exposed skin. Wear
a hat and gloves. Frostbite and hypothermia can occur if
precautions are not taken.
