UNION AVENUE - GAS LINE REPLACEMENT

Description
Peoples Natural Gas (PNG) will begin replacing its main gas line along Union Avenue (Steuben St. to Ingram Borough) starting in mid-January. The project is expected to take 4-6 weeks to complete. Union Avenue will be closed to traffic during daylight construction hours (local traffic, school buses, and garbage trucks will be allowed through during construction). However, the road will be open for parking and access during the evening hours. The Borough will then be resurfacing the entire length of Union (Steuben to Cross) in asphalt during the Spring. PNG will be reimbursing the Borough for its section of restoration. More information will be coming as we get closer to the start of the project.
