Winter Storm Watch issued December 16 at 2:55PM EST until December 19 at 4:00AM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...Heavy lake effect snow possible. Total snow accumulations
in excess of 8 inches possible. Southwest to west winds could
gust as high as 35 mph near Lake Erie.
* WHERE...Northern Erie and Southern Erie counties.
* WHEN...From Saturday evening through late Sunday night.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour
possible in the heaviest bands. Wind chill values will be in
the teens.
