Special Weather Statement issued December 3 at 11:55AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 1153 AM EST, radar indicated gusty showers were located along a
cold front extending from 6 miles southwest of Marienville to
Kittanning to Paden City. Movement was east at 40 mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with these showers. These gusts
will last for less than an hour, and will be followed by gusts of 25
to 35 MPH into the afternoon.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Monroeville,
McMurray, Greensburg, McKeesport, Indiana, Washington, Uniontown, and
Jeannette.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Use extra
caution if traveling, especially in high-profile vehicles.
