Special Weather Statement issued December 3 at 11:22AM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 1119 AM EST, radar indicated showers were located along a cold
front extending from 6 miles north of Oil City to 7 miles south of
Shippingport to 10 miles north of Marietta. Movement was east at 45
mph.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible with these showers. These gusts
will last for less than an hour, and will be followed by gusts of 25
to 35 MPH into the afternoon.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross Township,
Wheeling, McCandless Township, Monroeville, Cranberry, Moon Township,
McMurray, and Weirton.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Use extra
caution if traveling, especially in high-profile vehicles.
