Description
Rt. 99 from 6N to Normal Street will be closed tonight from 5:15 to 6:15 for the annual Light Up Night and Santa Sprint. Please be cautious and use alternate routes.
Parents and children can gather near CVS (124 Erie Street). Santa will arrive on a fire truck at 6 PM, and spectators may follow the truck through town to the Fire Hall (125 Meadville Street) as the Christmas lights are lit. Then enjoy cookies, hot chocolate, and the music of the Boro Big Band inside the Fire Hall! New this year, Magic Steve will be joining us at the fire hall, sponsored by Dr. Andryc of Greater Erie Dental!
The Santa Sprint returns as part of the Light Up Night festivities! Report outside Le Jardin along Meadville Street at 5 PM to register, with the race beginning at 5:30 PM. Dress as Santa and walk, jog, run, or roll on this festive, short fun run down Rt. 99 from roughly 6N to Normal Street and back.
