Hello Residents of the Borough. The East Stroudsburg Borough Water Department is aware of the discolored water that residents may be experiencing. The lines were recently disrupted, adding sediment to the water supply. It is important to know that there is NOT a boil water advisory in affect. The water may be discolored, but still safe to drink. If your water is discolored, let the water run for a few minutes, and it should soon run clear. Please continue to be patient with us while the crews address the issue. It may take a few days for the process to be complete, during which time you will see fire hydrants being flushed throughout the Borough. Again, there is NOT a boil water advisory in affect for any part of East Stroudsburg Borough. We appreciate your patience during this time.
