Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued November 27 at 2:49PM EST until November 27 at 3:15PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 248 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Perryopolis, or
10 miles northwest of Connellsville, moving northeast at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated. Spotters also reported golf ball size hail
in California PA.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some power
outages.
Locations impacted include...
Greensburg, Jeannette, Latrobe, Mount Pleasant, Scottdale,
McChesneytown-Loyalhanna, Blairsville, Youngwood, Derry, West Newton,
Lawson Heights, and New Stanton.
