Winter Storm Watch issued November 18 at 9:49PM EST until November 20 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Cleveland OH
* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, lake effect snow
occurring. Additional accumulations of less than one inch. For
the Winter Storm Watch, heavy lake effect snow possible. Total
snow accumulations of 8 or more inches possible. Winds could
gust as high as 40 mph.
* WHERE...Southern Erie county.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until midnight EST
tonight. For the Winter Storm Watch, from Saturday evening
through Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...Travel will be very difficult at times due to poor
visibility in falling snow and slick, snow-covered roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Expect a burst of heavy lake effect snow
late Saturday evening with a cold frontal passage, with bands
of locally heavy snow continuing into the day Sunday.
