Special Weather Statement issued November 18 at 2:15PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 215 PM EST, a snow shower was located 7 miles southeast of East
Washington, or 7 miles southeast of Washington, moving east at 40
mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this snow shower. Some
instances of visibility below a mile are possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wheeling, Washington, Uniontown, Moundsville, Connellsville,
Bellaire, Waynesburg, Bethlehem, Triadelphia, Valley Grove,
Gastonville, and Jefferson Hills.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 in West Virginia between mile markers 4 and 14.
Interstate 70 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 16, and
between mile markers 18 and 57.
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 76 and 99.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 37.
Interstate 79 in West Virginia between mile markers 159 and 160.

Use extra caution if you must travel into or through this intense
snow shower. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads
are likely to lead to accidents. Consider delaying travel until the
squall passes your location.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
