Description
Leaf collection has slowed due to weather and equipment problems. Our large leaf vacuum truck is in for repair. The Public Works crew is using other equipment and continues to progress through the borough collecting leaves. We will continue to work tomorrow as well.
At present we are working in the Bryn Mawr area and hope to get to Patrice, Watt and Tanglewood area this weekend. Weather will impact our ability to collect. Because of use of other equipment, we are attempting to get the bulk of the leaves in a particular area on roadways first and intend, if weather permits, to come back for further clean up.
We will attempt to update you via Savvy Citizen as we can. However, unlike past years, the crew is moving around the borough attempting to get the worst areas first and may not be able to provide advance notice.
