Winter Weather Advisory issued November 15 at 7:05PM EST until November 16 at 11:00AM EST by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation. Additional snow accumulations of 1
to 3 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze.
* WHERE...Portions of central Pennsylvania.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The period of heaviest snow will end around
8 or 9 PM. The precipitation type will vary through the night
but be much lighter. Freezing rain and drizzle are also expected
with a glaze of ice expected to form.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission remind motorists to adjust speeds based on
driving conditions as winter weather impacts Pennsylvania
roadways.
