Fire Safety Reminder – As fall moves into full effect, this is the time of year when many enjoy kicking their feet up and sitting by a fire. We have noticed a number of potential new open burn permit applicants on Halloween and wanted to remind everyone of the rules for the open burns.
Open Burns within Bellevue must be 15’ from any structures, combustibles and property lines. Enjoying an open burn in Bellevue requires a one-time inspection to have the free permit issued. The permit application can be obtained at www.bellevuepa.org/fire-department
