Special Weather Statement issued October 24 at 11:16PM CDT by NWS Austin/San Antonio TX

At 1116 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles east of Pleasanton, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Floresville, Kenedy, Karnes City, Poth, Kosciusko, Falls City,
Gillett, Cestohowa, Coy City, Zunkerville, Paweleville, Canada Verde,
Graytown, Fashing, Coughran, Hobson, El Oso, Ecleto, Helena and
Deweesville.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
