Description
The Borough’s Codes Enforcement Officers will continue to enforce the garbage collection ordinance and issue violations on a regular basis.
Your garbage can lid MUST close completely. If you have trash that does not fit in the can, you must purchase specially marked garbage bags. You can purchase as many bags as you want to have on hand for when you need to utilize them. Residents may place ONE bulky item out per week, in addition to the green garbage can. If you have additional bulky items to be collected, you need to purchase a special tag for each additional item. Garbage bags and bulk item tags are available at the Municipal Building, located at 24 Analomink Street. Our offices are open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. Additional trash that is put out for collection that is not in a specially marked bag or not tagged will NOT be taken by Waste Management.
Residents are able to place their green garbage can out at curbside on Monday nights after 5 p.m. for Tuesday collections. The garbage cans must be brought back from curbside no later than 8 a.m. the day after collection.
