Description
Please be advised that due to the inclement weather this morning the Borough’s Asphalt Rejuvenator Program will be delayed until Friday, October 14th. Day Two will be on Monday, October 17th. Street sweeping crews will be out on Saturday, October 15th sweeping up streets that were sprayed the previous day. The process involves the emulsion being put down and then a light sand is applied to absorb any material left-over and reduce tracking of the material. The emulsion is a petroleum maltene based treatment and will temporarily darken the pavement. If residue gets on driveways, wash it with water or it will wear off in two to six weeks. If residue gets on a vehicle, wash it immediately with soap and water or use a mild solvent remover such as Bug and Tar Remover, WD-40, etc. More information can be found at https://www.pavetechinc.com/reclamite-asphalt-rejuvenator/.
