CRIME WATCH ALERT: OCTOBER 11, 2022

Shortly after 7PM on Monday 10-10-2022 the Walgreen’s Store on W. Steuben St. was robbed. The suspect was able to get away with cash from the cash register and was last observed running up Richmond St. The suspect was described as a black male wearing all black clothing with a hood up, do-rag on his head and a white mask. The male threatened the employee and stated that he had a gun on him however a firearm was never seen. The Allegheny County Police Department is handling the investigation with the assistance of the Crafton Police Department. If you have any information or are able to check your security/surveillance cameras and observe a male matching this description please contact Crafton or Allegheny County PD.
The suspect fled the store and crossed over W. Steuben St. and ran up Richmond St. so he may have utilized the steps leading to Belvidere St. or ran through Crafton Park and/or the woods towards Crafton Blvd. (2300-2500).


PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLES UNLOCKED OR LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR VEHICLE.

ALWAYS REPORT ANY SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY AND/OR PEOPLE IMMEDIATELY TO 911.
