Starting Tuesday, August 30, New Freedom Borough water system customers may notice some discolored water. Public Works staff will be performing pressure checks at fire hydrants throughout the distribution system. If you experience discolored water, please run faucets for a short time, until water is clear. This testing will continue through Friday September 2. In the event testing is extended, residents will be re-notified.
