Saturday, August 20th, the railroad motor cars, also known as the Speeders, are coming for their annual visit to Dansbury Depot! Their estimated arrival time is 11:30 a.m., so come down to the Dansbury Depot to welcome this group as they stop here for lunch! Take a look at their awesome cars that you don’t get to see every day!
On Saturday, August 27th, join your community members at the Unity in the Community event. This will take place from 11 am until 7 pm at Dansbury Park. Details can be found on our website.
Saturday, September 17th, the Rotary Club of the Smithfields is sponsoring a paper shredding and electronics recycling event at East Stroudsburg High School South from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Visit the Rotary Club of the Smithfields’ Facebook page.
The Pocono Pony has announced on-demand $2.00 rides Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Visit gomcta.com for more details.
The Borough is seeking public input for the proposed Crystal Street projects. Public meetings are scheduled for September 6th and September 26th, both beginning at 6:00 p.m.
