Special Weather Statement issued June 7 at 6:36PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA
At 636 PM EDT, radar indicated a thunderstorm over Aliquippa, moving
southeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross Township,
McCandless Township, Moon Township, McMurray, Franklin Park,
Aliquippa, Monaca, and Gastonville.
This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike near mile marker 38, between mile markers 40
and 41, and between mile markers 44 and 53.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 52 and 77.
Interstate 376 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 41 and 80.
