Special Weather Statement issued May 14 at 7:44PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 744 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Bentleyville, or 11 miles south of Gastonville, moving northeast at 5
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Jefferson Hills, Monessen, California, Donora, Monongahela,
Charleroi, Bentleyville, Brownsville, Fredericktown-Millsboro,
Perryopolis, New Eagle, and North Belle Vernon.

This includes Interstate 70 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 25
and 46.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
