Special Weather Statement issued January 10 at 11:58PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 1157 PM EST, a snow band was located along a line extending from
Cresson to near Leetsdale. Movement was southeast at 25 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with this snow band.

Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Ross Township, McCandless
Township, Monroeville, Cranberry, Moon Township, Greensburg, Franklin
Park, Jeannette, and Aliquippa.

This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 29 and 65.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 59 and 78.
Interstate 376 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 38 and 39, and
between mile markers 63 and 84.

Icy roads are possible as the snow melts on the roads then quickly
refreezes.

Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be
prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra
time when traveling.
