Winter Storm Warning issued January 6 at 9:49PM EST until January 7 at 6:00AM EST by NWS State College PA
* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of 3 to 5
inches. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 6 inches.
* WHERE...Dauphin, Lebanon, York and Lancaster Counties.
* WHEN...Until 6 AM EST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The snow will be over a little before
sunrise, but travel will likely still be slower than normal
during the morning commute. Allow extra time in the morning for
snow removal and longer than normal travel time to your
destination.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania
Turnpike Commission strongly encourage motorists to heed all
travel restrictions and delay unnecessary travel as significant
winter weather conditions will make travel very hazardous.
