Duke Energy is planning a project in our area to strengthen the local electric grid, improve reliability, and support Volusia County’s growing energy needs. The proposed project includes construction of a new 115-kilovolt transmission line between the existing Cassadaga and DeLand substations.
Residents are invited to attend an upcoming Community Information Session to learn more about the proposed project, ask questions, meet with the Duke Energy project team, and provide feedback.
