A full FREE day of racing action will be held on October 10, 2026 on North Bridge Street. Rain date: October 17, 2026.
The Soap Box Derby is an exciting event in the borough. This event is being organized and run by several community members and past racers.

Each driver should have his/her own car for the event, however, there are some cars available to use for this event if you don't have one. Please reach out to contacts below if a car is needed. Used cars available are not currently race ready and will need some work and or parts. Please reach out ASAP for car information. We encourage this to be a family project.
Mandatory meetings for event:
Handler and driver clinic will be held on an as needed basis. New drivers are required to meet with the race director prior to weigh in and inspection day.
Weigh in and inspection day will be held on Sunday, October 4th at the Christiana Fire Company.
