On Saturday October 10th, just before the annual Porch Fest, the 150th anniversary committee will bury a time capsule, generously donated by the Dunn-Givnish Funeral Home, at the Richardson House to preserve this momentous year in the Borough's history for future generations. In fifty years, the capsule will be unearthed so people can see how we celebrated Langhorne Borough's sesquicentennial.
We are grateful to everyone who has taken the time to submit their suggestions and donate items for the time capsule. Thanks to you, we already have a wonderful assortment of items that capture the essence of the Borough at this moment in time, but we're accepting donations and suggestions until there's no more room in the capsule! Residents can drop off items at Borough Hall or submit ideas to clerk@langhorneborough.com or call 215-757-3768.
