Details
Join us on Saturday, September 26 at the Revolutionary War Cemetery for a day of fun, learning, and remembrance in honor of America's 250th anniversary!

There will be a commemoration ceremony at 10:30am with the American Legion Jesse W. Soby Post the Marbleheaders, a group of Revolutionary War reenactors named for the Marbleheaders regiment of Marblehead, Massachusetts. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet reenactors in period attire and witness a gunfire salute to the Revolutionary War soldiers buried at the cemetery, and all who have given their lives in service of our country.

Afterward, parents can sign up their kids (recommended ages 3-13) for the Children's Living History Program. From 11:15am to 1pm, kids will learn all about the life of a Revolutionary War soldier through hands-on experience, including writing with authentic feather quills, practicing marches, and handling prop muskets. It's a great way for young learners to be immersed in America's history!
