The Tex Mex 5K Returns to North Wales! Wednesday 6/24/2026
North Wales Borough is thrilled to welcome back runners, spectators, and neighbors for the 36th Annual Tex Mex 5K Race for Open Space on Wednesday, June 24th, hosted by Tex Mex!
It is a wonderful opportunity to showcase our historic streets, vibrant downtown, and the unmatched warmth of our residents. Beyond the high energy and friendly competition, this event directly benefits our local environment by supporting Wissahickon Trails.
To ensure a safe, fun, and successful evening for everyone, please keep the following details in mind:
Event Schedule Date: Wednesday, June 24, 2026
Race Starts: 7:00 PM
Safety & Traffic Notice - Drive with Care: Over a thousand runners will be filling our local streets. Please use extreme caution, expect minor traffic delays.
Cheer On the Runners: We encourage residents to step outside, wave, and cheer on the participants as they pass by your homes!
