NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held by the Zoning Hearing Board of Covington Township, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at the Covington Township Building, 20 Moffat Drive, Covington Township, PA 18444 for the purpose of receiving evidence and hearing testimony concerning the Application for a Variance-Telecommunication Tower (two (2) towers for out -door warning siren system) by the Eagle Lake Community Association, Inc. for the use of the real property owned by the Eagle Lake Community Association, Inc. for the property located at Eagle Lake off Route 435 (Covington Township) with a mailing address of P.O Box 305 Rt. 435 Gouldsboro, PA 18424 with Tax Parcel No. 227-020-80328 and Tax Parcel No. 220-040-20006. At issue are the requests for relief under the Covington Township Zoning Ordinance sections 404.6 titled “District Intents” “MP-RV-Mobile Home Park-Recreational Vehicle Park District”, 407 titled “Development Standards”, 519 titled “Towers” and 608.3 titled “Variances”. The property is located in a MP-RV- Mobile Home Park-Recreational Vehicle Park District of the Covington Township Zoning Ordinance
If you have any objection to said requests for relief, you should be present at said time and place as stated above to make your objection known to the Zoning Hearing Board or be represented by an attorney at that hearing.
