The Edinboro Area Historical Society is pleased to invite the community to a reception on Friday May 1 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. marking the opening of its art exhibit featuring the work of two Penn West-Edinboro art students, John Nies and Cristofer Windoft. The exhibit honors the historic connection between the university and the historical society. Professor Aime Doucette helped start the art department at the university more than 100 years ago. He raised his family in the home now known as the Doucette House, which serves as the museum and headquarters of the Edinboro Area Historical Society. All are welcome.
