Come learn about how America celebrated its major anniversaries of July 4, 1776 [in 1826 (Semicentennial), 1876 (Centennial), 1926 (Sesquicentennial), and in 1976 (Bicentennial)].

Presented by Rev. Sterling Fritz, who grew up on a family farm in Southern York County. He graduated from Susquehannock High School in 1977 and York College in 1981. Rev. Fritz's interest in local history began while he was in high school doing genealogical research on his extended family. For close to fifty years, he has explored civil records, church records, and old newspapers, expanding to cover local and state history as well.

Rev. Fritz invites community members to attend and share their remembrances of the 1976 Bicentennial community events in Shrewsbury Township and surrounding areas, and even bring items from said celebrations if they would like as well.

Doors Open at 6:30 PM, Presentation Begins at 7:00 PM. Free to attend, no registration required.

We are looking forward to a fun and education community get-together. Hope to see you there!
