We’re bringing a childhood favorite to life at the Kick-Off Party—Candy Land, but on a life-sized scale! Kids and adults alike will step into the game, experiencing the magic in real life. Each family will start as a team, spinning, moving, and playing their way through the colorful adventure.
Caregivers will need to sign their child up for a time slot to play the Candy Land game so that everyone will be able to participate. Children can also try their hand at coloring, make a craft, play in the bounce house and pick up their free book at the Library. We’ll also be handing out Summer Reading bags, packed with everything your child needs for a successful summer. Each bag will include a ticket for a free book, redeemable in the Children's section of the library.
