To the Residents on Stokes Mill Road between 5th Street and North Lane Road
Beginning the week of March 31, 2025, Brodhead Creek Regional Authority (water company) will be installing a new water main and fire hydrants on Stokes Mill Road between 5th Street and North Lane Road.
During construction, Stokes Mill Road will be CLOSED to traffic between 5th Street and North Lane Road on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. The road will be OPEN to traffic outside of this time period. An approved Detour Plan for Stokes Mill Road will be in place during the time the road is closed. Detour signs will be in place to re-route traffic around the construction area on Stokes Mill Road.
A copy of the Detour Plan is attached.
You will have access to your home during construction from either 5th Street or from the Stokes Mill Road/North Lane Road intersection. Access will be determined based on where we are in the construction process.
We will be handing out updated notices accordingly if there are any changes in the construction schedule.
