You’re invited to an Open House meeting!
Date: Thursday, March 13, 2025

The Borough is developing an Active Transportation Plan to provide a framework for
creating a safe, accessible, and connected network for walking and biking. The plan will identify specific projects and routes—such as sidewalks, multi-use paths, bike lanes, and bike routes—that can be improved or developed to provide safer, more convenient options for active travel to everyday destinations, including homes, workplaces, schools, medical facilities, shops, restaurants, bus stops, and parks.
Help us shape Plan goals and let us know what your priority is for our four primary focus areas for action:
1. A quick-implementation built environment project that the Borough has control over and can put into effect right away.
2. A program or campaign to raise awareness of active transportation and generate enthusiasm locally.
3. A specific policy recommendation to support plan implementation and mode shift.
4. A primary infrastructure construction project to seek design funding for right away.
Not sure what to suggest? We’ll have information available on various projects, programs and policies for consideration.
