- There are 17 Smithsonian Museums and galleries to visit including the National Zoo. FREE admission to ALL the Smithsonian Museums.
- Some museums (Air & Space, African American History and Culture Museum, National Zoo) require you to register for a FREE timed entry ticket. Do this before you travel so you can assure you can visit.
- Please note: Travel to the National Zoo requires Metro or a car share service (ex. Uber).
- Great shopping and restaurants to experience as well.
