Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at 4:45 p.m. in City Council Chambers, City Hall, 24 Kennedy Street, Bradford, PA 16701. The purpose of the public hearing is to afford citizens an opportunity to review and comment on the proposed activities to be undertaken by the City of Bradford with $306,888 in FY 2024 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The City of Bradford proposes to use its CDBG funds for the following activities:
• Callahan Park Recreation Improvements – Phase 2
• West Washington Street Streetscape Improvements
• Single Family Housing Rehabilitation
City Council will consider the approval of the application at their regularly scheduled meeting on October 22, 2024. Written comments will be accepted until October 18, 2024 and may be sent to the OECD, PO Box 490, Bradford, PA 16701 or by e-mail to sandrews@bradfordpa.org. No persons will be displaced from the activities planned under the City’s 2024 CDBG Program. The activities will benefit 56.2% low to low/moderate income persons. This meeting is accessible to individuals with disabilities and/or for persons with Limited English Proficiency.
