Clean up your property and get free disposal for up to 4 tires per household until full
September 30 — October 3 during business hours @ the Municipal Building
Potter Township is beautiful, except… many residential properties harbor old tires hidden in the grass or forgotten in a garage. To help our citizens safely address the problem of these contaminants and mosquito-breeding areas, Potter will accept up to 4 automobile/SUV tires per household at no cost and dispose of this hazard. Earlier this year, we took about 70 tires to our friends from Independence Conservancy to shear and dispose of. You must provide proof of residency to Office or Road Dept at dropoff—tires will be accepted on a first come, first served basis until the truck is filled.
Violators of these guidelines will be identified on camera and liable for dumping.
