Children are invited to Read to the Cats at Bailey's Cat Haven, located across the street from South Park Library.
Reading to animals at a shelter can give the reader and the cat them some much needed one-on-one time with a companion in a calm, non-stressful setting. It can also help skittish cats develop social skills that give them a better chance of being adopted.
Everyone participating in this program, will get to pick which book they would like to read to the cats.
Parking is limited, but you are permitted to park in Gil's parking lot and walk over.
