Bat Enthusiast, Linette Mansberger, will dispel many of the myths of
bats, attempt to decrease fears, and hopefully increase appreciation
for these important members of our ecosystem. Participants will
learn about the similarities between bats and humans, about bat
diets and habitats, and about various species of bats. Linette will
showcase a mixture of her photographs of bats taken in various
places around the world - including Australia, Borneo, Costa Rica,
Panama and Tanzania and some photos purchased from Bat
Conservation International. A few props will be included in the
program, but there will be NO live bats.
This program is suitable for adults and children ages 5yrs. and up.
We may try to find some bats at the park after the program!
