Details
An introduction to solar features visible on our nearest star, the Sun, and safe solar observing techniques. Additionally, we’ll discuss where to go and how to observe the upcoming October 14, 2023, partial solar eclipse and the April 8, 2024, total solar eclipse. Afterwards, weather permitting, Larry will set up a small solar telescope outside where we can safely observe the sun and any solar features visible that day.
