Please join the Penn Hills Shade Tree Commission for the free and family-friendly, Penn Hills Arbor Day Celebration at the William McKinley Center, 801 Seventh St, Verona, on Sat May 6 from 2-4 pm (rain date Sun May 7). We will plant 15 trees around the new playground, give away native tree and shrub seedlings, have a nature craft for the kids, provide refreshments, give an update on the Spotted Lanternfly, and celebrate Penn Hills being recognized as a Tree City USA for the 4th year in a row! Please bring your own chair and a shovel if you want to help us plant trees.
