The Borough of Edinboro hereby gives notice that a public hearing will be conducted concerning proposed Ordinance 626 on April 10, 2023 at 6:25 PM in the Borough of Edinboro Municipal Building, 124 Meadville Street, Edinboro, PA. Council may then consider and act upon the proposed Ordinance 626 at their regular meeting following the hearing.
Ordinance 626 would have the following impact: amending Chapter 27 Section 202, entitled “Specific Terms”, to add a definition of the term “Recreational Facilities”; amending Section 306, entitled “Permitted Uses, Conditional Uses and Special Exceptions,” to add Recreational Facilities as a permitted use in the C-1 Downtown Business District and C-2 Periphery Business District.
Complete copies of the draft Ordinance 626 may be viewed at the Borough of Edinboro Municipal Office during regular business hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday or by emailing the Borough office at jspangenberg@edinboro.net.
All interested parties are encouraged to attend this public hearing and provide relevant testimony. Any person with a disability requiring a special accommodation to attend this meeting of the Borough of Edinboro should notify the Borough Manager at 814-734-1812 x 123 as early as possible, but not later than two (2) working days prior to the meeting. The Council will make every effort to provide a reasonable accommodation.
