The Town of McCandless is nearing the end of the full overhaul and modernization of the Town’s zoning and land development ordinances to better suit the needs of the community and reflect the goals identified in A McCandless Conversation, the Town’s 2019 comprehensive plan.
Mark your calendars for the February Open House! Join us on Thursday, February 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. at McCandless Town Hall for an update on this process as we move into the final adoption phase.
Details of the draft ordinances will be available including how they preserve features of the Town and enable goals for the future. Town staff and project consultants will be there to answer questions and chat with attendees about what the proposed zoning changes mean for the community.
