The Edinboro Area Historical Society sponsors the maple ice cream sundaes at the Hurry Hill Maple Farm Museum every Sunday afternoon throughout the month of October.
Besides getting a great maple sundae and supporting the Edinboro Area Historical Society, you have the opportunity to start your Christmas shopping early at the museum's gift shop and the historical society's sales table.
If the weather is nice, you might want to take a walk on the path back to the sugar house (approximately a 1/2 mile walk) with interpretive signs posted along the way.
Finally, you can see the exhibit room devoted to Virginia Sorensen, an Edinboro resident who wrote the children's book, Miracles on Maple Hill, in 1956 and received the Newberry Medal for Children's Literature in 1957.
