Pittsburgh loves an underdog. Explore the gripping story of a Pittsburgh immigrant who endured poverty, tragedy, and other adversities to become one of the world’s most revered self-taught artists currently featured at the Heinz History Center. Ann Madarasz, Director of the Curatorial Division, Chief Historian, & Director of the Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum at the Heinz History Center will be here to discuss the story of an artist and his art, but also of an immigrant worker and his world.
This program will take place at the Community Center.
