Special Weather Statement issued June 8 at 10:51PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 1051 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles west of Slippery Rock to near Robinson
Township. Movement was east at 65 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Ross Township, McCandless Township,
Monroeville, Cranberry, Moon Township, New Castle, Butler, Franklin
Park, Aliquippa, and Beaver Falls.

This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 8 and 60.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 60 and 112.
Interstate 376 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 8 and 63, and
between mile markers 68 and 84.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for southwestern
Pennsylvania.
