Special Weather Statement issued June 1 at 7:41PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 740 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
outflow boundary near Ellwood City, or near Beaver Falls, moving
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Ross Township, McCandless
Township, Cranberry, Moon Township, Weirton, Butler, Franklin Park,
East Liverpool, and Aliquippa.

This includes the following highways...
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 13 and 51.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 51 and 98.
Interstate 376 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 31 and 81.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
east central Ohio...western, southwestern and west central
Pennsylvania...and northern West Virginia.
