Special Weather Statement issued May 16 at 7:45PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 744 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Forest Hills to Gastonville to 11 miles
southeast of Valley Grove. Movement was southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross Township,
Monroeville, McMurray, Greensburg, McKeesport, Washington, Uniontown,
and Jeannette.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 in West Virginia near mile marker 14.
Interstate 70 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 0 and 57.
Pennsylvania Turnpike between mile markers 42 and 99.
Interstate 79 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 1 and 58.
Interstate 376 in Pennsylvania between mile markers 64 and 84.
