Special Weather Statement issued May 15 at 4:15PM EDT by NWS State College PA

At 415 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Gettysburg to Emmitsburg. Movement was
east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation
possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hanover, Gettysburg, Hampton, Littlestown, Carroll Valley,
McSherrystown, Lake Meade, Bonneauville, New Oxford, East Berlin,
Lake Heritage, Abbottstown, York Springs, Heidlersburg, Hunterstown,
Fairfield, Two Taverns, Liberty Mountain Resort, Gettysburg National
Military Park and Gettysburg College.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
