Description
Special Weather Statement issued April 1 at 1:00PM EDT by NWS Pittsburgh PA

At 12:55 PM, radar indicated scattered to numerous snow showers
moving in an east-southeast direction across much of eastern Ohio,
southwest Pennsylvania, and northern West Virginia. These will
continue to impact the area into the afternoon, reducing
visibility to 1 mile or less. The heaviest snow showers may
briefly reduce visibility to one- quarter mile, create a quick
coating of slick snow on surfaces, and even produce brief small
graupel. Brief wind gusts to 30 MPH are also possible. Any snow
accumulation on roadways should melt shortly after a shower
passes.

Use caution if you encounter reduced visibility or slippery roads
while driving. Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter
weather situations. Slow down and allow extra time when
traveling. Consider delaying travel until the heavier snow showers
pass your location.
